Sandy Trifiletti, Kindergarten aide & Librarian

I attended Glassboro State College (now Rowan University). While studying to become a teacher, I decided to leave school, get married and start our family.  When our children were all in school, the desire to use my education hit and thus began a substituting job. Substitute teaching led to a job as an aide at ACA. I have been on staff since 1999 with a 2-year leave while dealing with cancer. The enjoyment of reading came in handy when ACA's librarian retired, I volunteered to take over the position as librarian. Each month children learn about a featured book author and or illustrator. My desire as an Aide is to help the children where they have need and to be an assistant to the teacher. As a Librarian, my goal is to instill a love of reading and to give an understanding of the person behind the books.

I have been married to my college sweetheart, Carmen, for close to 40 years. We have been blessed to have 4 children- 3 daughters, and 1 son. We also have many grandchildren that we adore.  We have 2 kitties who basically run our home. Now that our children are out of the house, my husband and I have begun to travel.

My husband and I are part of a bicycling team from our church called the Redemption Riders. We frequently ride the back roads of Gloucester County. We ride as a team in the Pedal for Promise Ride, a ministry of Urban Promise in Camden, and the MS City to Shore ride.

Somethings that are enjoyable to me are scrap booking and a new hobby crochet. Besides riding, exercise and being all around healthy are some things I enjoy.
